R.B. Stevenson Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition “Echo” a solo show of new paintings by California based artist Chris Trueman. The exhibition open’s with a reception for the artist on Saturday June 15, from 5 - 8 pm. The public is welcome.
Trueman continues to merge a wide lexicon of painting techniques and strategies into energetic and colorful compositions. The title "Echo" refers to the reflective quality of abstract painting that presupposes a dynamic relationship between object and viewer. These are paintings that consider our understanding of place to be a collection of fragments and moments over time. |
