This exhibit is to provide emerging & established local artists the opportunity to be recognized & rewarded for their talents. Juror: Damon Hitchcock, B.A. in Fine Arts & M.A. in sculpture from SDSU, 35 yrs. teaching art, teaches at the San Diego Museum of Art, Miramar Community College, and SDSU. Event Description

Waveriders Gallery will be hosting an event on March 15th from 6:30-9:00PM. The work of surf photographer David Pu'u will be featured, along with that of surf artist Wade Koniakowsky. Wade Koniakowski will be on hand to conduct a painting demonstration which will provide surf art aficionados with a rare opportunity to watch the creation of original pieces of art right before their eyes. These one of a kind paintings will be available for purchase that evening and a selection of Wade's prints and originals will also be on display for your viewing and buying pleasure.
