Event Description SUSAN STREET FINE ART GALLERY would like to invite you to view our virtual release of THE OPEN ROAD series, featuring new works by MIGUEL OSUNA. OSUNA's pieces have captivated our local and international collectors since we first featured his work in a group exhibition, ABSTRACT RESONANCE, in fall of 2008. Back by demand, OSUNA's blurred visions of abstracted highways and blue skies evoke the emotive response that one has for the peaceful, yet turbulent modern Californian landscape. His new series offer both serenity and vigor as viewers settle into the familiarity of the motion that OSUNA captures with the uncompromising strokes of his brush. Osuna’s paintings are beautiful snapshots- ethereal dreams of the enchanting dystopia, which is Southern California. Greg Sax Born and raised in Mazatlán, Mexico; OSUNA received a degree in Architecture from U.A.G. in Guadalajara, Mexico and is currently painting full time in Los Angeles, California. He has presented numerous solo exhibitions throughout California and his native Mexico, and participated in group shows in both the US and Europe. Henceforth I ask not good-fortune—I myself am good fortune; Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing, Strong and content, I travel the open road. Excerpt from Walt Whitman's Song of the Open Road All nine pieces in THE OPEN ROAD series are available for viewing and purchase exclusively at SUSAN STREET FINE ART GALLERY.
