| Event Description |
Be inspired by the Old Masters and try your hand at painting in this unique six-session art workshop, jointly organized by the Timken Museum of Art and the Losina Art Center. Participants of this one-of-a-kind workshop
will have the opportunity to gain inspiration from the great masters at the Timken and create a contemporary interpretation of their favorite work in the Museum’s collection. The Timken galleries will serve as the classroom for the first two sessions of this hands-on workshop. The last four sessions will take
place at the Losina Art Center, a spacious studio located on Sports Arena Boulevard, where participants will use their portfolio of drawings from the Museum for their own finished easel paintings. The workshop is designed for all levels of experience, for those who have never painted before and those who love to paint. Sessions
will be taught by professional artist Olya Losina, MFA, who will guide participants through this artistic adventure.
The workshop will take place on six consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. starting on March 3 with the final session on April 7. |
