The Grossmont College Hyde Art Gallery is proud to present “Grossmont College Art Student Exhibition 2010". This exhibition is a cross-section of art produced by art students resulting from their studies within the department. The works on display were selected and submitted by their instructors for this exhibition. These works represent some of the best examples in ceramics, digital media, painting, drawing, jewelry, photography, sculpture and 2-D & 3-Dimensional design.
The exhibit will run through May 20. An opening event honoring these emerging artists will be held on Tuesday, May 18, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Gallery hours are: Monday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Gallery is CLOSED Friday to Sunday and legal Holidays. Admission is free. Parking is available during the exhibition with the purchase of a permit from the vending machine in lot #1F. Complimentary parking is available the evening of the opening ONLY in parking lot #1, vehicles must be parked in designated parking stalls. The Gallery is located in Building #25.
