Event Description Designs can be found everywhere in life and the arts. All forms of artistic expression are interconnected. “Patterns” will be exploring these connections on May 29 at Mosaic Wine Bar in North Park. This event presented by Thumbprint Gallery will feature a runway fashion show by Enigma Fashions, a body-painting demonstration, live art, and a bazaar featuring local fashion and jewelry designers. Up-and-coming indie band, Lion’s Mouth, will be rocking a set. “Maldodanz,” a modern-dance performance choreographed by Patricia Maldonado, will grace the audience with movements of creativity and expression. The evening also includes live acoustic music, spoken-word by True DeLorenzo, and drdiggs on the turntables. There will be happy hour until 8:30pm offering $3 dollar select beers and wine. The event starts at 5pm and goes until midnight. There is no cover. 21 and up. Mosaic Wine Bar is located at 3422 30th Street.

Event Description Art Reception and Exhibit on May 29th, 2010 at Little Italy Inn, 11am – 7pm. The Little Italy Inn and Danièle Arnaud, Curator proudly introduce four San Diego Artists at this exquisite Bed & Breakfast. The Little Italy Inn: The Little Italy Inn is an experience of old-world charm with modern conveniences in a centrally located urban retreat with 23 unique rooms, located a few minutes from the San Diego Airport, Convention Center, Zoo, Downtown, Gas Lamp Quarter, Balboa Park, and Harbor. Drinks, wine and cheese will be served during the Art Event, and there will be an opportunity drawing to win prizes such as art, theatre, cashmere, travel and other items. The Artists: 1. Lee Peterson: "Lee is an artist, who has dedicated his life to photography. Lee's unique vision is spiritual. Lee's images speak to me of natural harmony that flow smoothly and freely, revealing Yin and Yang, music to the soul, the truth and Tao." Steve Lu 2. Lindsay Duff : Her visionary art immerses one into mysterious dream worlds accompanied by vibrant color and form. Her paintings carry a note of contemplation, inviting the viewer to explore one's own inner-realm of beauty, light and shadow. 3. Marla Epstein: Marla has been involved in the art world for many years as an artist and consultant to corporations in acquisitions of art, as well as gallery Director at a prominent gallery in Southern California. 4. Lynn Buettner: With scenes ranging from realist and Impressionist to surreal, Lynn has shown her mastery of color and technique in a body of work. Her work is also featured in television shows such as “The Diary of a Middle Aged Housewife”.

Event Description On Saturday May 29 from 7:00 pm to 1:30 am, Glashaus will host Enrique Experienced. This original art show will comprise of 12 multi-media pieces, each from a renowned San Diego artist and inspired by an outlandish Enrique Limon tale. Contributing artists include Dark Vomit/Kelly Hutchison, Gustaf Rooth, and Bret J Barrett. There will be four deejays, a special mandolin performance from The Burning of Rome’s Adam Traub, wine tastings from Carruth Cellars, complimentary popsicles from Viva Pops, and many more eclectic performances. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to attend. Admission is $5.00 and proceeds benefit Mama’s Kitchen, serving AIDS patients.
