Conversations on Beauty: Beauty for Change is a series of discussions that examine the meaning of beauty in people’s lives. The discussion on October 12 will explore beauty as an arbiter in the built environment from homes to workplaces, communities and hospitals. Panelists will consider such questions as, “What if beauty is an integral part of design; does it change what is built?”
Presented by Ilan-Lael Foundation and Mingei International Museum, the discussion is presented in association with The San Diego Museum of Art, La Jolla’s Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, SDAI Museum of the Living Artist and the Museum of Photographic Arts. |
