Event Description Make NTC Promenade your destination for arts and culture at “Friday Night Liberty” on Friday, November 5, starting at 5pm. Friday Night Liberty is a monthly first-Friday evening of FREE open artist studios, galleries and performances throughout NTC Promenade Arts & Cultural District at Liberty Station, just 10 minutes from Downtown. With eight galleries and over a dozen art studios open, the public is invited to explore, wander and enjoy the growing cultural campus. Featured exhibits for November include Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles; Bravo School of Art - City Heights: Primary Colors; amd Sophie's Gallary and Gift Shop presents The Rubins in their 2nd annual exhibition.

Bravo School of Art presents this premier exhibition of instructor & photographer John Thurston's newest series of photographs. Looking beyond the ordinary facades, the photographer explores various colorful portals into the homes, businesses, and landmarks of San Diego’s most diverse, and colorful neighborhood. Oceanside Museum of Art will create an alternative world at Dr. Steampunk's Art Extravaganza on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction where steam power and victorian era Britain collide in fatastical inventions, whimsical design, ironic sculpture, and technological developments.
