SAN DIEGO, CA – Plumbago revives the 17th and 18th century group of artists who were renowned for their intricate graphite drawings on vellum. Thumbprint Gallery presents PLUMBAGO: A Graphite Art Show at Bar Basic on January 24, a group show with urban artists using only graphite as their medium.
Other artists exhibiting include Andre Power, Sophinie Som and Carrie Anne Hudson. Local Djs Intraphonic and drdiggs will provide the soundtrack, while True Delorenzo and Sharif I. Carter paints live for the audience.
The opening starts at 7pm and runs until 12am on January 24. Bar Basic is located at 410 Tenth Avenue in downtown, San Diego. There is no dress code and no cover. However, you must be at least 21 years old to attend. |
