This 2 day workshop will cover methods for the average artist to earn a living. Topics covered include: "Plans for financial success","Studio development, management and maximization", and "Making and Teaching Art in the Community." Mr. Benzle will offer specific guidance, professional advice, and personal insight to cover a wide range of artists' interests. Curtis Benzle is Professor Emeritus at Colunbus College of Art & Design. He has held over thirty solo exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Asia. His work is in thirty-five public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, LA County Museum, Smithsonian, International Museum of Ceramics in Florence, Italy and the Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. COAL GALLERY’S JULY OPENING RECEPTION is Sunday, July 14, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The featured artist this month is watercolorist Penny Fedorchak.
