Join Director John Wilson and felloGetty Villaw art enthusiasts for an exciting day trip to explore the antiquities collection, architecture and gardens of the J. Paul Getty Museum Villa and a major international loan exhibition entitled Sicily–Art and Invention between Greece
and Rome.
The Getty Villa is one of two locations of the J. Paul Getty Museum and is dedicated to the study of the art and culture of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. The collection is comprised of 44,000 antiquities dating from 6,500 BC to 400 AD, including the celebrated Lansdowne Heracles and the life-scale bronze Victorious Youth.
