Artist Julie Warren
This fun art form, practiced by artists such as Picasso, is similar to woodblock printing. Learn the basic steps to creating a small edition of prints. Transfer simple bold designs to a linocut block with stencils, original designs, or other sources. Use professional tools to cut, ink and hand print an image. Water-based inks and fine art papers provide quick drying and quality results. Prints will be suitable for framing or turned into greeting cards, etc. Inspiring samples, alternative methods and printmaking jokes will be available. |
