San Diego – The Spot Barrio Logan will be opening its gallery to host the 1st anual Lucha Libre art show “The HeART of LUCHA”.
On August 25th. This one-day show will feature over 100 different artists from Southern California, Chicago, Colorado, Kansas City, Mexico City, and even the United Kingdom, making this the largest Lucha Libre Art exhibition in California.
This all ages event will be a filled with Art, Music, and Culture with live Luchadores and an appearance by The San Diego Renegades roller derby girls, as well as some celebrity guest appearances!
The wide variety of talent is what makes this such a stand out event featuring world renown street artists (Mind Control, Chikle, Dyse One), tattoo artists, and a handful of extremely talented elementary school artists allowing them to display their talent with the more popular of todays artists including 4 year old painting sensation Osmar Pete Hernandez. just added as well Award Winning Artist LALO ALCARAZ has just been added to the line up as well!
This show will be curated by Ruben Torres, host of the online TV show “Connected with Ruben Torres” and Founder of the Latin Urban clothing line “JEFE CLOTHING”. Ruben Torres is also responsible for putting together the annual “Love Thy Neighbor” Christmas time toy drive for kids and families in Tijuana.
Make sure you arrive hungry because there will be some TJ style tacos, as well as other mexican delicacies that you need to try!
