Hera Hub supports art, entrepreneurs and environmental issues, so nationally known San Diego multimedia artist and author Kira Carrillo Corser is combining the three in an event on June 6, from 6:00 to 8:30pm. These events are open to the public. Her art will be for sale and will continue to be viewed Monday through Friday, 9-5pm until the end of August. Learn more at www.kiracorser.com.
Corser worked for KPBS TV and Radio for 10 years before branching off nationally to show in places like the Smithsonian, Congress, state capitals, and NBC with President Clinton. She has 30 years of experience as an artist and has used her works as a catalyst affecting legislation, policy, community and health. Her multimedia art includes: painted photographs, video projections on walls, writing, and silks.

SPACE 4 ART is committed to the development of emerging artists. By popular demand, this program is being developed by and for artists who want to better understand the practical side of the arts with panel discussions and presenters leading diverse topics such as how to get works into galleries and how to improve their marketing effectiveness. Each month will explore a different topic and include time to network & hang.
To kick off the series, Art Neil of New Media Rights will give a presentation on how artists can legally use copyrighted material as well as how artists can protect themselves and their work online.
