What's Outside?: Exploring Nature Through Art
August 18 - 22 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Grades K-2 & 3-5
Investigate the wonders of the outside world with nature-inspired projects like observational drawing and art making using natural materials during this week-long, half-day Summer Camp. Two camps are offered, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for either grades K-2, or 3-5.
Designed for elementary school students, week long, half-day Summer Camps are led by artist instructors and include art activities that explore a variety of media and trips to the Museum to view summer exhibitions. Combine 2 half-day camps to create a full-day program. |

Let's Go Wild!: Looking at Animals in Art
August 18 - 22 | 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Grades K-2 & 3-5
Look for animals in art both in the Museum and around Balboa Park and learn to create beast-inspired paintings, sculptures, and more during this week-long, half-day Summer Camp. Two camps are offered, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for either grades K-2, or 3-5.
