| Event Description |
The 10th annual UH Arts Open/Taste of University Heights event is both a creative and culinary arts celebration happening Sunday, November 8th from 11 to 4pm in University Heights. The Taste of UH is a self guided walking tour of delectable delights showcases mouthwatering cuisines from prominent and diverse restaurants and eateries from noon-3pm. The University Heights Arts Open is one-of-a-kind event that celebrates art, and doesn't charge you a penny. The Open features works and talks by painters, sculptors, potters, and musicians. Visitors can visit studios, check out exhibitions, chat with the artistes and watch performances. Venues during the Arts Open include: Diversionary Theatre hosting a live painting exhibition and Businesses and restaurants along Park blvd host artist displays. Many artist’s personal studios are open throughout the neighborhood to tour including Mario Torero, Victoria Huckins, Susan Roden, Pilar Moreno, Jeffrey Wynne & Ana Garcia, Larry Caveney |
