Quint Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of new works by New-York based artist Tara Donovan, which will open with a reception on Saturday, February 6th from 6-8 pm. The opening reception is open to the public and the artist will be in attendance. TARA DONOVAN is known for using accumulations of everyday objects in her sculptures and installations. In her newest series, Donovan uses Slinkys, the helical spring toy invented in the early 1940's. The familiar spring toy is disassembled, reassembled and manipulated into freestanding and

The San Diego Art Institute (SDAI) will be hosting Abrash Presents: Sam Ashley, Josh Krausbauer, and Scott Nielsen during a night of trance-induced and -inducing music on Saturday, February 6th at 7pm.
Abrash Presents: is a series of concerts focusing on experimental sound, visual, and performance artists. Abrash Presents: aims to bring traveling musicians and local artists from the San Diego area to interact; juxtaposing performances and forming new collaborative situations. Admission is $5.
