| Event Description |
Local video and media installation artist Stefani Byrd's solo exhibition "I Am That" on view at the UC San Diego Department of Visual Arts. This exhibition features an immersive sound installation and a multi-channel video installation that explores the notion of breath, time, and the relationship between body and mind. This show marks the culmination of her work as a graduate student in the UC San Diego department of Visual Art and is a requirement for the awarding of a degree of Masters of Fine Arts. At The ARTS District Liberty Station
Juried by award winning San Diego artist, Ken Goldman
The watermedia show runs May 4 – May 28 ; Wed thru Sun: 10.am - 4pm
First Friday opening reception May 6: 5pm-8pm. ART, food, wine, company of other art enthusiasts.
Free to the public
Gallery visitors will enjoy a variety of art, from abstract to representational; all exemplifying the artists’ experiences and passions for creating works in watermedia art.

The San Diego Watercolor Society has a Gallery and Education Center at the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station and provides a wide array of services and activities that benefit the over 700 members and the public. These include monthly member art exhibits, an extensive art library, a full program of workshops, classes.
