Event Description ArtHatch and Distinction Gallery are excited to present a Studio Artists Exhibition, featuring the collective art of their very own in-house ArtHatch Studio Artists. Highlighting a wide range of work from original paintings, photography, and other mixed media, this exhibit is a representation of the broad spectrum of current local San Diego artists. Side by side emerging and accomplished artists come together to present their artistic voices and inspirations, giving rise to a diverse and creative show; representing over 30 artists total. The Opening Reception with Live Music will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 6-10pm. Studio artists within the ArtHatch building will have their studios open to the public as well. The exhibition will run from July 9 through August 6, 2016. The opening reception with the artist, live music, open studios, Stone Beer, and BK Cellars wine will be on Saturday July 9, from 6-10pm. Event Description Joseph Bellows Gallery is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, The Teen Years. This group exhibition will open on July 9th and continue through August 26th, 2016. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 9th,from 6-8 pm. The Teen Years will feature a selection of both vintage and contemporary photographs that address the physical, social, and emotional aspects of adolescence, and the formation of identity. The photographs included in the exhibition present a collective portrait of youth: its awkwardness, innocence, fury, elation, beauty and trepidation. Photographs by Joseph Sterling, Edward Sturr, Enrico Natali, Elaine Mayes, Bevan Davies, Nacio Jan Brown, Melissa Shook, Harry Ibach, Duncan McCosker, Christine Osinski, Joan Albert, Sage Sohier, Mark Steinmetz, Andrea Modica, Bill Yates, and others will be included.

Event Description R.B.Stevenson Gallery presents "Into Nature" featuring works by artist Astrid Preston and Sasha Koozel Reibstein. Together, they simultaneously expand nature and organic forms in their own personal singular styles. The exhibition will open on July 9 and will remain on view through August 13, 2016. Reception for the artist will be held on Saturday July 9, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. San Diego Artist Sasha Koozel Reibstein utilizes saturated color and abstract forms in her ceramics that implies a human presence in nature. Sasha has exhibited in China, Denmark, Hungary and Germany. She has created sculptural works and installations that have been featured in over 70 national and international exhibitions including a solo exhibition in Berlin entitled, "New World", The Mutter Museum, Philadelphia, International Mingei Museum, San Diego, The California Center for the Arts, Escondido, CA. American Museum of Ceramic Art, Pomona, CA. The Attleboro Museum, Massachusetts and the Morris Graves Museun, Eureka, CA. Sasha is currently nominated for the Art Prize in her home city, San Diego, CA.
