Event Description > 10 AM Brunch > 11 AM Panel Celebrate the work of more than 75 active duty armed forces members who engaged in a series of weekly art classes and visits to the Museum to produce original works of art as a means of coping with the effects of combat-related stress. These works will be on display at MCASD La Jolla as part of the exhibition ArtOASIS from July 29 through September 4. Join us as they share their stories and the impact this program has had on their lives.

Sparks Gallery explores the elegance of the human form and the body as a landscape with paintings, photography, and sculpture by San Diego artists. 21 San Diego artists present their figurative work in this show. This exhibit allows us to see the human body in different interpretations thus allowing us to appreciate the beauty and study the form of the human body.
