Learn to paint with individual attention for all levels. Beginners are welcome!
Use brushstrokes and textures to have fun creating realistic, expressive, and abstract art. Includes: expanding your observations skills to see like an artist and then transfer this new skill to your painting. Linda is an expert in highlights, shading, depth, dimension, and color mixing. Paint trees, flowers, people, animals, buildings, cars, and even abstract shapes– you name it, you can paint it! Choose from a variety of subjects provided by Linda, or bring your own favorite objects, or photos and postcards from your travels. Expand upon the basics: how to layout your subject matter, mix the best color scheme for your subject, and avoid creating muddy colors. Mix colors on your palette and on your canvas like the Impressionists. Create a still life, scene, animal portrait or wild abstract painting with depth, dimension, colors, and values.
