No experience in printmaking is necessary!
If you like color and painting with watercolor or acrylic, you can use those same techniques to make a monoprint. Some of the advantages of monoprints are that you can change your mind, correct blobs and even start over. Artists like Degas and Prendergast have used this painterly approach to printmaking.
Supply List: All you need are some sketches or photos of images you would like to do. You should also bring some pencils and brushes. There will be a small charge for the paper that you use ($3.50 - $ 7.00 per sheet). Everything else will be provided. |
