Event Description Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Give-and-Take: Poster Design by Nancy Skolos and Thomas Wedell. Working collaboratively for over 30 years, Skolos and Wedell have consistently pushed the boundaries art, design, and technology in graphic design. In 2017, they were awarded the AIGA Medal for their outstanding contributions to the field of design and visual communication. Nancy Skolos and Thomas Wedell will give a gallery tour from 5:00 6:00 p.m. as part of the opening reception.

Event Description Visual Arts Facility (VAF 306) Performance Space, UC San Diego // A panel discussion with Prof. Teddy Cruz, Dr. Prof. Mariana Wardwell, Prof. Brian Cross and Dr. Prof. Daniel Hallin mediated by MFA Student Mateus Guzzo. // LACES(D) - a conference to reflect on Speculative Design as a potential area of knowledge, political practice and art from a Latin American perspective.
