Description
Chuck Abel- began gardening in San Diego at his grandfather’s side in the late 1940s. Grandpa and grandma, recently retired Minnesota farmers, came to San Diego for 2 or 3 months each winter to plant a garden and fill the house with the heavenly aroma of fresh-baked home-made bread.
Taking a break to attend college and become a science teacher, Chuck resumed San Diego home gardening 40 plus years ago with his children, and has been growing good things to eat ever since.
