Come and make your own spooky Halloween or festive Holiday Candle house! You will learn how to cut glass, make glass “frit" and create your one-of-a-kind art house. In addition you will make fun accessories for the your “yard" or base. Glass Studio provides ring saws to cut shapes like dogs, cats, ghosts, pumpkins or holiday trees and gifts. Houses are made in two flat layers with cut glass, stringers and glass pieces. Your colorful design will be fired flat and then will be ‘slumped' into over a shaped mold to become 3 sided. Susan will provide some extra components such as a freeze' n fused tombstone and gothic etched fences. There is no limit on creativity! The base and accessories will be fired together for you to assemble with glue at home. The assembly process and suggestion of glues will be covered in the workshop. |
