“Art is a harmony parallel with nature.”
- Paul Cezanne, French Artist (1839 – 1906)
San Diego Botanic Garden has a rich heritage of garden art, both natural and man-made. Our 37-acre urban oasis provides the beautiful natural setting for this year’s Sculpture in the Garden - a collection of 49 works supplied by 31 artists.
From June 2017 to April 2018 visitors are invited to engage with these diverse creations set against a unique backdrop of dragon trees, rare fruit gardens, bamboo groves, tranquil ponds, and other natural settings. Art works from top regional, national, and international artists have been mindfully selected by Naomi Nussbaum Art & Design, curator of this year’s show.
