Madison Gallery presents Los Angeles based artist Lori Cozen-Geller and her retrospective exhibition, \"Origins\", which will comprehensively examine her career trajectory and minimalist approach. White will serve as the main palette as it is a source of purity and renewal. Her architectural sculptures, constructed out of industrial materials such as steel, wood and automobile paint tied with her interest in the complexity of human connection led her to create dynamic sculpture in which individual components are in communication with each other. Each work represents the artist’s visceral expression and serves as a map of her life as a daughter, wife, mother and friend. Lori Cozen-Geller grew up in Los Angeles, California. Her education includes a BA from the University of Southern California. She has exhibited throughout New York, Los Angeles, Aspen, Germany, and China and her work is found in public collections throughout the country. |
