Build your personal art collection and support your local contemporary art community at C-Note, San Diego Art Institute annual pop-up art sale. SDAI’s C-Note continues their mission to connect audiences to artists on November 16 and 17 with a preview on November 15. The thoughtfully curated experience offers a unique opportunity to discover emerging and mid-career San Diego and Tijuana contemporary artists and purchase their work for just $100, $200 and $300 (C-Note is slang for a $100 bill). The 900 submissions were juried by a select panel of six regional arts professionals. More than 300 works from nearly 100 artists will be available for sale, including work by artists Flavia D\'Urso, Sofia V. Gonzalez, Jason Gould, Alexander Kohnke, Cheryl Tall, Cesar Vasquez, Chantal Wnuk, and more!
Proceeds from pieces sold are shared between artists and SDAI to help support year-round residencies, exhibitions, and education programs. In-person ticket sales open at 11am each day. |
