We\'re hosting an open call for entries from professional and novice artist\'s to create a poster - \"My SD\" - that represents the neighborhood or community in which you live. We want to showcase the diversity of San Diego by using art as a tool to express not only where we live, but also your hopes and concerns for a better future.
Inspired by major themes in KPBS\' One Book, One San Diego selection for 2020, \"They Called Us Enemy\", by George Takei; civic/social justice, activism, diversity, perspective, style, and voice are all touchstone prompts that we hope inspires you to create and have your voice heard.
Open to all ages and all mediums.
Complete submissions will be entered for a chance to win cash prizes; including 1st- $300 dollars, 2nd- $125 dollars, and 3rd- $75.00, graciously sponsored by the Friends of the San Diego Public Library.
