Explore weaving designs using natural and colorful round reed to create this gorgeous basket. Starting with a 5” slotted round base and 32 spokes, each student will make a beautiful woven vessel using multiple motifs and colors. You will learn time-honored basketry techniques such as forward and reverse 3 and 4-Rod wale to create arrows, columns and spirals – resulting in an amazing 5” (base) x 10” patterned basket. |
