Get ready to move and groove on Sunday, May 19 from 12 pm to 4 pm and welcome back one of San Diego’s most anticipated performances of the year, Shock’N The Park, presented by Culture Shock San Diego. Each year, Culture Shock San Diego hosts a free one-day event in San Diego that engages, educates and inspires the community. Taking place in Legacy Plaza, this year Culture Shock will host a Showcase Dance Battle featuring a variety of dance exhibitions by performers from San Diego to Tijuana. The event dancers, DJs, Emcees, and Breakers will have you feeling immersed in Hip Hop culture all day long at the free outdoor performance. This year’s event will also feature a special performance from ARTS DISTRICT Emerging Artist, Micah Parra. Taking place at 1 pm, the 5-minute jazz funk trio performance, will celebrate the empowerment of friendship, play and feminine energy. |
