| Event Description |
Painting in oils, students will work from life with professional models. Students will learn to see the figure as simplified shapes, while concentrating on the relationships of value, color, and edges. This course will offer an opportunity to compose paintings from both costumed and nude models. Students will be introduced to various approaches to expressively painting the figure, which include value studies and quick oil sketches. Previous experience painting in oils is encouraged. |
