From modest beginnings as a volunteer initiative, Oceanside Museum of Art has grown into a vibrant institution recognized as a leader in the wave of change that is transforming the city of Oceanside. As a leader for arts and culture in North County San Diego, Oceanside Museum of Art promotes cultural tourism and contributes to the cultural economic development of Oceanside and the region. Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our creative museum team as the Programs & Events Manager.
The Programs & Events Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the museum’s programs and special events, and assisting with the coordination of educational programming. This includes exhibition receptions, school visits, artist demonstrations, lectures, programming for extended museum hours, and signature fundraising events such as The Museum Ball and Art After Dark, among others.
