Learn how to make a 2 dimensional drawing pattern and experiment with basic hand-stitching and embellishing techniques to design your very own stuffed animal. During the second week, build homes for your pets and work as a group to form a habitat for all of the animals.

Event Description

Week 4 of the San Diego Art Department's Youth Summer Workshops! Two classes every day; Mixed Media Sculpture and Community Dance. In the morning, create unique sculptues through combining a variety of recycled and found objects. Then, in the afternoon, discover the world anew through dance! Work with teaching artists from Eveoke Dance Theatre to find and express your voice through creative movement. For ages 6-12. Call to register! All materials are provided.
