Lets celebrate the ART in STE(A)M. The San Diego
County Engineering Council (SDCEC) in partnership with
the Eastlake High School SWENext Club is hosting a
STEAM Art Contest for K-12 students in San Diego &
Imperial County. Contest is in collaboration with local San
Diego STEM organizations including SHPE Jr.
Each division winner will be awarded a $25 gift certificate.

This contest is about showcasing creativity and bringing
visibility to the engineers and S.T.E.A.M. (Science,
Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) professionals who are
making this world a better place. To enter, you will need to
draw:
OPTION 1 - DRAW A CREATIVE INVENTION - Engineers
are changing the world all of the time. They dream up creative
solutions and work with other inspiring people to invent, design and create things that
matter. It all starts with an idea. Use your creativity and imagination about how you are
“Reimagining the Possible”. Showcase ideas that just might make a difference in this
world. Who knows, you may even inspire a solution to one of the Global Goals for
Sustainable Development.
OPTION 2 - DRAW AN ENGINEER. Engineers have been making the world a better
place for centuries. But how many engineers or inventors can you name? Here is your
chance to showcase S.T.E.A.M. role models and inspire the next generation. Who
knows, you may even inspire the next comic book author, playwright, or movie producer
and be included as one of the San Diego Engineering Legends.
